Tiny crane

Lost post, again ^^

After arguing some about how horribly over-prized are the stuffs on Etsy, such as a simple tiny crane in a tiny bottle, anyway, I'm willing to think that these are expensive because I live on the end of the word, and to ship here costs an arm and a leg, the Sun of my life got some paper, one of my new tiny bottles and, right beside me, made a beautiful tiny crane for me :)

Here is it! x3

During the school president election we received a huge bottle of pearls and I inherited it right after the election- useful stuff for a crazy artist like me. One summer day I found it and twisted and turned until I wanted to separate some funny colored or interesting shaped pearl.. So I started to pick them out of the bottle and assort.. I made myself work for some days. I had a bag for funny pink, and one for the bigger pearls and also one for the blue colored ones. My honey used the latter to make water for my bottled origami crane. He wanted to use some white thread to hang the crane but I searched some fishing line for him, as it's transparent, not as conspicuous as the white.
The crane was hanging, the water under it was flowing, but it was just a pendant not a necklace. I told him where he could get some chain, and he went right there but bought some other type of "chain". To be honest, it didn't appeal me the first sight, but now I cannot imagine it otherwise :) His choice was perfect, I only had to find it out by myself.

All in all, I'm still in love with it :) I got an awful lot of "Aww, how cute!" and after I tell them that my only one made it for me they all like "AWW! HOW CUUUUTEE!!", and then I always become a proud not-single having such a cute necklace ;)

Just wanted to make it a post, it was pending here for quite long (he made it during the summer holiday..) as I mentioned, it's a lost post. But there are only a few left, and I'll be again in the present ^^

Until then
Be the Leaf!~

Welcome to Night Vale

You can find this art on my Deviantart too: Glow Cloud by ~Pongii
And on my Tumblr

"Apparently the cloud glows in a variety of colors, perhaps changing from observer to observer, although all report a low whistling when it draws near.

[…]

This is probably nothing listeners, but John Peters—you know, the farmer—he reports that the Glow Cloud is directly over Old Town Night Vale, and appears to be raining small creatures upon the earth. Armadillos, lizards, a few crows—that kind of thing. Fortunately, the animals appear to be dead already, so the Night Vale Animal Control Department has said that it should be a snap to clean those up. They just have to be tossed on the Eternal Animal Pyre in Mission Grove Park, so, if that’s the worst the Glow Cloud has for us, I say go ahead and do your daily errands. Just bring along a good strong umbrella capable of handling falling animals up to, say, ten pounds. More on the Glow Cloud as it continues to crawl across our sky.”

Welcome to Night Vale- Glow Cloud

My friend was talking to me about this series and wanted me to listen it. For now I know why did she say that. I just fall in love with Cecil’s voice and Carlos’ beautiful, curly hair :D

I made this fanart months ago, approximately when I started to listen to Welcome to Night
Vale, but haven't posted it since then.. Sorry for that, dear readers. Since then I surely became a fan.. :D

The second episode is still one of my favourites, and I just cannot not imagine someone listening to the radio, pick up an umbrella and go on a nice walk on the streets of Night Vale, filled with corpses of animals. :D
She’s wearing a huge earphone and listening to radio and also Cecil since she started her walk :)

So thanks for reading, again <3

Bye bye for now
