Haven't visit my blog for days and I came back to this: I've got more than 1000 views :D
LoL - Happiness!
Thehhehehh :3
But back to today's theme- Instruments
Once my friend asked me that which musical instrument is my favourite? And for sure, I couldn't choose (:
If you could say, you have a concrete favourite instrument than I'd say- You might not seen enough yet ^^
Band, musics, instruments. My favorites.
The violin, if it is held by a secure and experienced hand, will show you its soul. That beautiful and calm spirit what lives inside everything and everyone.
The violin is noble, and can only work in harmony with a musician who lives in harmony. In my opinion.
BTW, Bear McCreary composed almost the complete Battle Star Galactica's music. Great talent. How the hell could he make such a majestic lullaby?.. Great talent...
If you liked this one, you shall also listen to Roslin And Adama, or The Shape Of Things To Come.
The guitar, used in every music bands, and I think everybody plays it at least a bit. (:
Learn how to play guitar is easy, but learn how to play guitar well and enjoyable though unique is a lifetime work.
Although it is close to my heart. Every girl in her teens dreams about a boy who would make her a serenade under her window ;) Or write a song for her, you know. It might sound old-fashioned but to be honest, writing a song for a girl is also cute and romantic.
But those aren't the reasons I like it for: I prefer to listen guitar solos because they are sweeeeet. Mostly when the singer can actually sing. Like, you know, Michael Alvarado & Carissa Rae, or Renan Luce. This french man have a cute, youthful voice while staying manly and seductive. Aww... Love him.
One Republic is my other loved guitar-playing-guy theme band (:
I'm in love with them till the day I first heard Apologize in the radio :P Though my favourite song from them is Won't Stop.
Conclusion: The guitar is the most youthful instrument I can imagine (: It's playful, and is everywhere. It rocks in metal, but hums in soft rock, it completes every singers voice in every age, but also lives in a harmony with other things. It also looks good in a room. Everywhere. Seriously. Looks surprisingly cool on the top of the laundry.
You won't take a harp or a violin to a camp, but you can take your guitar. Near the campfire, singing old classics... Priceless (:
I've heard this song in the movie One Week. Worth seeing (:
The harp reminds me of my childhood. I used to like to be a step-dancer- probably I've seen too many Michael Flatley movies. ^^'
So fairies and flute (my worst nightmare is the flute; I used to learn how to play, but well... it was horrible) and dancing ladies and and and... If the guitar is the instrument of youth then the harp is the wonder's and dream's.
Every time I hear a harp, its sound flies me to a garden, or some other wonderful place where fairies exist, cats talk and the raindrops tinkle. (:
To be honest, neither these song's would be the same if they would be only the singer and the instrument. Some great man just made some great music, and.. Ah you know. (:
From my point of view these are the best. If I could, I'd totally learn to play harp :P
