League of Legends, or Why did I star to play another game?

Anyone that knows me a little must have learnt that I have a thing for concept artists.
~(Story time)~
Years before (surely I must have been under 12) I found the fantastic and unforgettable Jason Chan and I was just silently loving him for almost 4 years. When one day, my only one came to my life and shortly after saw my background on my PC.

His surprising reaction was saying "Hi there, Jace!" and I was like "What..? You know this art?....." He knew it from the game Magic the Gathering....
...And long story short, this is How I Started To Play Magic The Gathering

But... look at his work, and say you don't like it!

(If you say so, I won't believe you. Just saying.)

For your information, his work inspired me trough years and helped me accept the thought of drawing digital. I was a big snob, my strong opinion was that only those arts could be appreciated that are made on paper with ink or pen, because when you work on computer, you can variate your art, your mistakes don't matter. I learned my lesson. Anyone that can create must be treated as an artist, because every artist put effort into those pieces and, at least the work that he or she had with it, must be appreciated. Thank you internet, and especially thank you Jason Chan!

My habits never change, this time I did just the same...

My only one showed me Vi's theme a year ago (see the post I made back then here), and I instantly fell in love with the art, the music, but that was all.

Some time later we re-watched Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, and I was looking for fanarts on DeviantArt, and found him.

First I didn't like it, because it wasn't like Nausicaä or Master Yupa at all.. but couldn't stop thinking about it. It's such a beautiful piece of art, how could I describe it not to be a good fanart only because it is not a copy of the original movie?
Searched it, and forced myself to look at it as an original art. And that was the moment when my jaw just fell down. I lost in the details, read the descriptions and figured out the similarities. Love him since then.
Scrolling through his DA gallery I found a lot of character designs, that was pretty strange for me, and all of a sudden who have I found?

Vi.

"It must be a great fanart", I thought. But it wasn't.
*Fangirling*

Before this precedence I've heard a lot of League of Legends, good things and bad things, but since my beloved one also plays with it, and I've seen him playing, and he showed me a lot of stuff, and there are these fine arts, and fine artists, and I went to a geek party where we watched the World Championship......

.....since then, it wasn't a question If I start to play LoL, the only unclear part was When.

Approximately, I'm playing LoL for one and a half months, but I already bought Garen, Teemo, Annie, Vi and Jinx :)
I want to learn how to jungle with Vi, but most of the normal matches I play with Teemo, or for now, Jinx.
My favourite so far is still Teemo... :'D (Hate me, but I really love him.)

I've already made some fanarts, but haven't scanned them yet, so perhaps in a next post, you may enjoy again my art :)

Thanks for reading, and Be the leaf!

Bonus twist: Jason Chan inspired Zeronis too!!
