We were at Holdfénycon, deal with it!

So my Asami and I went to Holdfénycon, Budapest this spring :) It was a great experience, not because we did a stage performance but also because it was her first time to visit an animecon :D

The performance was about their life after Amon. They become best friends but some time they still arguing about the past- We were playing with Mako's scarf. She (Asami) come to the Air Temple island while I (Korra) was practicing bending, and asked me to play a game. We were fighting a bit, then she gave me the scarf, and together we made the Dancing Dragon :)
We don't really remember, but my only one told us that some screaming was heard during our dance ;D And we got applause as well ^^

I was photographing and photographed, and we were running, dancing, playing, enjoying, making new friends, meeting old ones and I loved it! She loved it too, I read it on her blog :P

Those faces..... Oh, Draco! He was cosplaying because he was sooooooo alike Draco that he had to.

He was a part of a Harry Potter cosplay group, Grimmauld place 12., we met that day :3 As Asami is a great fan of the Harry Potter world and they were opened to be sassy with us, we had a great time together :D Sadly I usually left her with them because I was running and asking and taking photos about everybody and everything else that moved...

Although, I hope she had a great time with them :)

About this picture.. My lovely partner, Asami and I were totally stressed, I don't know if it was before or after the performance, but we had to hug someone. And he was this grumpy, like a great Malfoy cosplay so we hugged him.

And the photographer wasn't enough fast to make a picture of it. But I have this "me" face, and it's kind of cute so I post it here! Like us! And also them!
Actually this is the closes to be the perfect con-feeling-picture I ever seen... There is someone who knows that there's a picture taking about him, there is someone laughing and the other just doing some embarrassing movements and face. And the back, there is a bodyguard. Yeah, this is totally a perfect con picture.

Meeting old friends- the gondorian knight I met at Holdfénycon half year ago, for this time as Faramir.

I was searching for him, but he wasn't at his miniatures stand, so we were just walking around, when I saw him and in no time stood next to him and smiled saying Hiiii! He recognized me, and he also remembered my name \o/

(My glasses were on, because I'm blind like a teapot and we were watching AMVs from the last lines.... This photo was actually a big surprise for me, because I found it in the album of the facebook event ^^ Anyway, pretty cute)

So he, his wife, who was Éowyn (OH MY, I SHIP THEM SOOOO MUCH!) and two of their friends also made a stage performance. It was about how to defeat a nazgul. They took the movements from knightly swordsmanship and also the armors and the clothes was made my themselves.

Obviously, they won the competition.

One of them was a Thranduil cosplay, a gentleman, a true elf king. My heart just melted out of my chest seeing this scene. Outside, in the park, this young lady just walked up to him and they started to talk. He gently touched her chin and shortly after he knelt down and gave her a kiss on her hand, because her mother was calling her and she had to go. The little lady was giggling contentiously.

This is how a dream came true. I love you cosplayer society so much ; _ ; You make dreams come true. That weekend I've met a bunch of Lord of the Rings cosplayer and I'll remember those times forever!

Oh, and also, it's his real hair.

Like if he were a star or something. Such a power and confidence. He Is Thranduil because of reason!

Afterwards, I was talking with the gondorian knight and got a perfect response to my fanning:

Me: You look wonderful, simply, I cannot imagine that in civil you are not an elvish king and a gondorian knight!

Him: Because we also are in civil :)

BILBOOO!!

This cosplayer was awesomely cute! :) She was showing what she had- the Sting, the Ring (she was searching for it like Bilbo does in the movies, I thought she'd dissapear) and also a map :D

She was AWESOME! Barefeet doodling around like a real hobbit.

Whenever we met I was shouting at her like a fool. :D I think she got some heart attack because of me, randomly shouting BILBOOO! at her :'D

About making dreams come true- I also met some Stargate cosplayers!

Running somewhere I saw them, standing there, talking with that cute jaffa, and I drifted, but I couldn't speak just gesticulated like an idiot. Moments later, I found my voice and said them Don't move, I'll get my camera! and  turned back, ran for the camera, and with the biggest smile on my face I made this picture. They were like, She recognized us. We made some racognizable cosplay thing! Yay! :D

Stargate made a huge affection on me, and I can honestly say that this series was the most beloved series of my life. When I was younger, I wanted to be an egyptologist, just like Daniel Jackson was. :)

To be honest, while I was younger I also wanted to be Daniel's wife :D And I was jealous to every of his girlfriends and hated them all xD Brainy's the new sexy.

But the whole SG1 was so great. With my father we still repeating O'Neil's sayings, and acting like Teal'c does while saying Indeed, what is precious. :)

So thank you Stargate cosplayers :3 It was a pleasure to meet you!

Bloodbenders.. khmm.. I see bloodbenders everywhere… Great… It’s just.. khmmm.. great..

I had this head canon sooooo long. And now I had a chance to make it real :D

He was fantastic cosplayer :D Even asked for a kiss on the cheek. He let me live after all and for sure, he did it only because he wanted a kiss from me.

I love her work, and also her, because she is so cute and look at those monkeys! Could you not love the one who makes them..?

She got the second place in the craftsmanship category. Totally deserved. She was beautiful and dominated on the stage. So strong. I would follow her in a battle.

To sum up, I have to admit that this was the best animecon ever. I wasn't lonely. I got recognized and not just as a cosplayer :) I recognized others, I made new friends and we've got some pretty good shoots. I photographed and I enjoyed it.
Everyone should at least once experience what does this community hide. Trust :) And love, happiness, dreams, games, fun, curiosity, and a lot more what is not usually found in a company where you don't know almost anyone.
